On Thursday, May 14th the Marion County Sheriff's Office is hosting a Crime Prevention Symposium at Adam Stephens Middle School at 6:30 p.m. The Sheriff's Office is bringing a panel of experts from our Crime Prevention Unit, Patrol, Jail, Code Enforcement and Parole and Probation to offer crime prevention tips, listen to residents and answer questions.
The event is designed for residents in the Jan Ree area or north east Salem. The Sheriff's Office will be offering additional events in SE Salem, rural Marion County and our contract cities, the dates of those events have not yet been set.
