A 23 year old, Sublimity man has been arrested and charged with several crimes associated with an alleged sexual assault. Joshua Behrens is currently at the Marion County Jail and set to be arraigned for the crimes of Sodomy I, Strangulation, Assault IV, and Coercion.
Mr. Behrens, a volunteer firefighter with the Turner Fire District and former volunteer with the Sublimity Fire Department, is accused of sexually assaulting his adult victim at a rural location near Turner. Mr. Behrens's crimes are not associated with any duties he performed while acting as a volunteer fire fighter.
