Today at about 12:40 p.m., Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff's Office were called to a robbery in the 4900 block of Sunnyview Road NE. When deputies arrived the 3 victims described the robbers as white males, wearing black hooded sweat shirts and black bandanas. 2 of the suspects were described as 5'09" to 5'10" tall and average build, the third man was taller and thin.
The men fled in a newer, white, Chevy or Ford, 2500 truck with a 4" lift and 35" tires, the suspects are not known to any of the victims. The men who were armed with a shotgun and crowbars assaulted two of the victims and stole items from the residence. The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to call 911 immediately. The victims in this case, who are obviously shaken, have asked the media to remain off of their property.
