Marion County Sheriff's Office Detectives are still searching for a man involved in a home invasion and sexual assault that took place on Elm Street in Jefferson on Friday September 27th, 2013.
The adult female victim told deputies that a man knocked on her door at about 2:30pm, asking for directions. The man suddenly forced his way into the house and sexually assaulted her. A sketch artist was able to create a composite sketch of the suspect. Sheriff's Detectives are asking the public to retake a look at the sketch and contact us immediately if they recognize the person of interest.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5'-11" with a medium build, dark colored hair that is short, but longer in the back and green eyes. He appeared unshaven to the victim which she described as, "multiple days growth".
The man had a tattoo on the inside of his left wrist described as looking like either HHH or III. He had another tattoo of a devil's head on his right bicep, blue and white "boat" shoes, dirty black colored denim jeans, a dirty plain white t-shirt with small burn holes, a solid colored dark jacket with an open zipper front with no markings, a dark blue hat with no markings and he smelled of cigarettes.
A vehicle associated with the suspect is a light blue Honda, possibly an Accord.
