The Marion County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating a Salem man, missing since March 3rd.
Alan D. Dassenko, 44, was reported missing by his father after he borrowed a family truck and went for a ride around 10:30am, Sunday. Dassenko lives in the 6800 block of Canyon Street SE in Salem, and suffers from medical problems that may affect his decision making. There is no indication of foul play at this time.
Dassenko is described as a white male, 6-0, 200, shaved head, and possibly a short beard (a driver's license photo of Dassenko is attached to this release)
The truck is described as a 1969 Ford F250 single cab pick up truck, turquoise in color, OR license: APZ 492. The truck has left front end damage (an Internet photo of a similar truck is attached to this release).
